Todd Louis Meyer

Todd Louis Meyer passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2024, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. He was 66 years old.
 
Todd was born on March 17, 1957, to William Edward Meyer and Patricia Lee (Dively) Meyer in Litchfield, IL. He attended Mt. Olive High School. Todd served in the United States Army; stationed in Frankfort, Germany as a Chemical Specialist.  He was Honorably Discharged as a Specialist 4th Class (SP4).    He studied Instrument Calibration at Ranken Technical College in St. Louis, MO. He was employed at ExxonMobil as a Computer Safety Technician.
 
Todd enjoyed interacting with nature and animals, having been an avid equestrian for decades.  He took great opportunity to travel and those trips took him halfway around the world and back to Mt. Olive.  He traveled more than the average person having spent time in Germany, the Middle East, and even Paris, France.    

Todd is survived by his mother, Patricia (Meyer) Flora two sons: Mason Meyer and Dusty Meyer, a brother, Michael Meyer, two sisters: Kim (Bob) Bartelt and Shanna Beal, grandchildren: Alyssa Meyer and Connor Meyer, a beloved dog, Ollie, and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father.
 
A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Gudgel Ranch and Saloon in Litchfield, IL. Family and friends are asked to wear green.
