Military:  A Private in  the United States Army, He enlisted and began active  duty in  1961 and remained in the active reserves until 1969.
Organizations: A member of MidState Motorcycle Club, White City, Illinois.
Employment:   Began his career for Hano Business Forms in Mt. Olive, IL ,  Springfield, MA. and Conyers, GA.  on to Service Business Forms, Wichita, KS.   advanced to Vice President Manufacturing for Wise Business Forms in Alpharetta GA and Butler, PA .
Interests: Woodworking //  Golfing // Pittsburg Steelers Football Team  and the Penquins Hockey Team

Olive, IL (Chico passed away Saturday March 2, 2019) //  James (Dorothy) Yancik of Benton, IL // 4 Sisters; Virginia (Dick) Kloss of Glen Carbon, IL //  Loretta (Ed) Enlow of Rio Rancho, NM //  Judy (Joe) Ellis of Golden, CO //  Linda Erdelyi of South Bend, IN.

 Joint Memorial Mass:  A Memorial Mass at St. John Paul II will be celebrated Saturday April 27, 2019 11 A.M. for Thomas "Ton" Yancik and Charles "Chico" Yancik.
Joint Visitation: will be held Saturday April 27, 2019 at the Becker & Son Funeral Home, Mt. Olive from 9 A.M. until 10:45
Burial: Holy Trinity Cemetery, Mt. Olive, Illinois
Lunch:  for family and friends will follow the Mass at the St. John Paul II Hall, served by the Altar & Rosary Society.
