April Lee Severtson

 

April Lee Severtson passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at 6:53 a.m. in Litchfield, IL. She was 62 years old.

 

April was born on April 3,1961 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur, IL to Robert W. Dyke and Camellia (Waugh) Phipps. She was the worlds greatest mother and homemaker. April leaves behind a close friend, “ol-man” Packy Carney.

 

She is survived by children: Jeramiah (AmberLee) Severtson, Josh Severtson, Angela (Joshua) Bowlinger, Walter Wallace, Amy (Bucky) O'Brian, Kammy Carney, grandchildren: Brooke Severtson, Mathew Severtson, Mollie Severtson, Rebecca Severtson, GabreElla Jett, Sam Stewart, Heaven Severtson, Nature Severtson, Akila Specking, Elizabeth Lee, Alexus (Lou, Lou) Carney, Josh Bowlinger, Annabelle Bowlinger, Alexis Bowlinger, Autumn O’Brian, Austin O’Brian, Anthony Hendshawn, Walter O’Brian, Michael O’Brian, brothers: Steve (Donna) Phipps, Michael (Judy) Phipps, Rockie (Leta) Phipps, sisters: Louse Dyke, Susan Dyke, Debra (Tom) Keith, and Elizabeth Dyke.

 

See was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jacob William Severtson, and brother, Stephen Dyke, and step-sister, Vickie Phipps.

 

Both the visitation and the service will take place at Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive, IL on Saturday, July 22, 2023. The visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. The service will begin at 1 p.m. Reverend Gary Hanover of the First Baptist Church in Mt. Olive will officiate. Burial will be in Chapman Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL.
