Carol Sue Loescher passed away on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Gillespie Health and Rehab Center in Gillespie, IL. She was 70 years old.

Carol was born on August 23, 1953 in Litchfield, IL to Richard Loescher and Verlaine (Weidler) Loescher. Carol attended Immanuel Lutheran Grade School and graduated from Mt. Olive High School. She worked at Hano Business Forms and was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mt. Olive.

Carol is survived by her sister, Joan (Arthur) Schoen, three nephews, Tim (Britney Althoff) Schoen, Mike (Meggan) Schoen, David Schoen, four great-nephews, Brendan Schoen, Brett Schoen, David Schoen Jr., Sean (Erin) Prather, three great-nieces, Rae Schoen, Staley Schoen, Emily Schoen, two great great-nieces, Ella and Eden Prather, one great great-nephew Eden Prather.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one baby sister.

A public graveside service will take place at the Union Miners Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL on Monday, September 2, 2024 at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. James Ritter.

Memorials are suggested to Mt. Olive Volunteer Fire Department and Mt. Olive Care Center.
