Deborah Jane Rubis

 

Deborah Jane Rubis passed away on Friday, April 26, 2024 at her residence in Mt. Olive, IL. She was 70 years old.

 

Deborah was born on April 12, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to Melvin Woodrow Snow and Betty Jane (Ainsworth) Snow. Deborah graduated high school and took college classwork. She married Paul Rubis at St. Paul United Church of Christ In Staunton, IL in 1975. They later divorced. She worked at Russell Furniture. While employed there, her duties included cleaning, furniture assembly and sales. Her hobby was having all kinds of birds.

 

Deborah is survived by her father, Melvin Snow, a son, Duane Lowery, a daughter, Nicol Pike, seven grandchildren: Dalton, Wesley, Alejandrea, Annbella, Abigail, Aidrionna, Aimee, and three great-grandchildren: Jayden, Ellie and Gabriel.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother and a grandson, Todd Lowery.

 

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
