Church: Current member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Mt. Olive, was baptized in Shoal Creek by the 1st Baptist Church, New Douglas, Il.
Occupation: Retired Farmer, formerly worked at Phillip Hano, Mt. Olive and for the Edwardsville Intelligencer newspaper.
Organizations: Charter Member of the Midstate Motorcycle Club, White City, Illinois.
Interests: Loved riding his motorcycle and recently his Honda Trike. He was an avid hunter and also enjoyed fishing, especially when joined by his Granddaughter, Payton. Never missed early morning coffee with his buddies at the Crossroads. He was born to be a farmer, played and watched football and loved traveling with his wife, Vi.

Funeral Service: Thursday, November 30 11 AM Zion Lutheran Church, Mt. Olive, Illinois.
Burial: Elm Lawn Cemetery, Litchfield, Illinois. The Patriot Guard will escort the procession.
Military Rites: at Graveside by the Mt.Olive Area Veterans. Ron Hubert and Lavern Rosenthal will fold the flag, Ron Hubert will present the flag to his wife, Vi. Ray Slapak served as Honor Guard and Ernie Thomack sang "God Bless America" and played "Taps"..
Clergy: Revernd Ben Fiore Eulogies: by Granddaughter, Payton & Daughter, Shelly.
Music: Soloist ,Pianist & organist, Ernie Thomack will accompany the congregation on "Bourning Cry" & "How Great Thou Art" and will sing "Just A Closer Walk With Thee" at church & "Amazing Grace" at the graveside.
