Marriages: First Marriage was to Frances "Bonnie" Wilder Pernicka on August 31, 1952, they later divorced, she died February 7, 2017.  His second marriage  was to Barbra Jean Rohr on March 17, 1981 at their home,   she died September 4, 1992.  His third marriage was to  Mary  Ellen Hirtz Williams on March 21, 2014 at the courthouse in Carlinville, IL and she survives..       
Schooling: attended Mt. Olive Grade School and graduated from Mt. Olive High School with the Class of 1948.
Church:  A member of the Zion Lutheran Church where he was baptized and confirmed.
Occupation: employed by the State of Illinois, Department of Agriculture.  Previous employment was with the Mt. Olive Police Department and the Mt. Olive Coal Yard with Carmi Tomso.
Military:  A member of the United States Army from  September 1948 until December 7, 1949 as a member of Company B. 709 Military Police Battalion , Private 1st Class.    Returned to the Army March 1, 1951 and mustered out June 11, 1952 as a Sgt. T1.   Received the Army Occ Medal in (Germany).
