Gail Mick passed away at 10:32 p.m. on Friday, November 28, 2025 at her daughter’s residence in Mt. Olive, IL. She was 77 years old.

Gail was born on October 5, 1948 to Homer and Ruth (Clark) Cunningham. She married Kenneth Mick in Litchfield, IL on February 17, 1969, and he preceded her in death. Gail worked as a dispatcher for Total Mechanical HVAC Company for 15 years.

Gail is survived by two sons: Thomas (Gina) Mick and Kenneth “Gus” (Lorie) Mick, a daughter, Jolene “Patsy” (Arlan) Bennett, grandchildren: Paige Mick, Clarice Hagood, Nate Bennett, Jake Bennett, Isaac Bennett, Mallory Mick, Neil Lawless and Nick Lawless.  Siblings:  Ruth “Sis”, Judy, Jolene, Evelyn, Mary, Kelly, and Gary.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Ruth Cunningham, her husband, Kenneth Mick, and four brothers, Tom, Jack, Delbert and Jim Cunningham.

Gail was loved by everyone she met.  She was always willing to lend a caring ear to anyone who needed it.  She was a very selfless, giving person with a never ending love for her family.  Her family and friends are going to miss her dearly.

A celebration of life will be held at the Mt. Olive Zion Lutheran church this Saturday, 12/6/25 at noon.
