Goldie Mae Eckhoff
Goldie Mae Eckhoff passed away on Monday, June 22, 2026 at her home in Mt. Olive, IL. She was 91 years old.
Goldie was born on May 26, 1935 to Charles and Bessie Margaret (Scott) Clark. She attended Litchfield schools and graduated from Litchfield High School with the Class of 1953. She married Edwin Eckhoff on June 7, 1953, and he survives. Goldie was a mother and a homemaker.
Goldie and Ed enjoyed traveling and family gatherings.
Goldie is survived by two sons: Glenn Eckhoff and Randall Eckhoff, three daughters: Carla (Paul) Russell, Connie Mayfield, and Diane Fyalka, nine grandchildren: Shannon (Devika) Mayfied, Jenny (Josh) Bitzer, Shane Eckhoff (Erin), Brandon (Brittany) Eckhoff, Michelle Mayfield (Tim), Sarah (Justin) Tomlinson, Jay Fyalka, Audrey Fyalka (Fred), Blake (James) Eckhoff and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, and sisters, and one great granddaughter, Brooklyn Eva Tomlinson.
Visitation will take place on Friday, June 26, 2026 from 10 a.m. until noon at Becker and Son Funeral in Mt. Olive, IL. A service will begin at noon officiated by Pastor Kevin Simburger. Interment will take place at Cedar Ridge Cemetery on Honey Bend Avenue in Litchfield, IL.
