Occupation: A housewife and Mother who 1st worked as a Nurse's Aid for St. Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL, worked at Western Cartridge, East Alton, IL. during WWII making munitions and supplies for the troops as part of the famous "Rosie the Riveter" group. Later worked at Alton Glass Works, Alton, Il. and Brown Shoe Company, Litchfield, IL.
Interests: Enjoyed ceramics, gardening, sewing, quilting, and was an excellent cook and baker.
