Janet Elaine Moore passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 4:28 p.m. at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was 62 years old.
Janet was born on April 27,1962 in Granite City, IL to John Francis Nunes Jr. and Ruth (Hill) Nunes. She attended Granite City Grade School and received her GED. Janet married Steven Lee Moore on October 15,1993 in Edwardsville, IL, and he survives. Janet was employed in the healthcare field as a dietary manager.
Janet is survived by her husband, Steven, a son, Adam (Taylor) MacMann of Denver, CO, a daughter, Samantha (Chris) Moore of Mt. Olive, IL, a brother, John Francis (Dorothy) Nunes III, a sister, Karen Sue Heape, three grandchildren: Hazel Moore, Landon White, and Luke White.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two nephews: Chad and Joey Browning.
