Jonah Martin Niehaus 21 of Mt. Olive and Hillsboro, Illinois died Thursday, April 23, 2020 at 8:03 P.M. in St. John's Hospital Springfield Illinois.
He was born July 30, 1998 in Hillsboro, Illinois to Dana Lynn Crouser Niehaus and Martin Arthur Niehaus. He has 3 brothers, Noah Martin Niehaus of Litchfield, Illinois, Jacob James (Lindsey) Harbaugh of Carlinville, Illinois and Adam Benjamin Tarran of Greenville, Illinois. 1 Sister, Sara (Andrew ) Bentley of Carlinville, Illinois, Paternal Grandmother, Orva Wilhelmina Ernst Niehaus of Mt. Olive, Illinois, Girlfriend, Tia Lile, Hillsboro, Illinois
Preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Arthur Jr. Niehaus and Maternal grandmother, Sherry Allen.
He was a Mr. Fix it, who also enjoyed riding dirt bikes. Jonah loved his dogs, Milo and Jax. He also loved hanging out with his brother Noah and his best friend Branson. He was looking forward to becoming a father. Jonah farmed with his dad, Marty and brother Noah.
He graduated from Mt. Olive High School with the Class of 2017. Jonah was member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Litchfield, Illinois.
A Private Family Service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at the Becker & Son Funeral Home, Mt. Olive, Illinois Reverend Dr. Phillip Witkop will officiate.
Burial will follow at the Mt. Olive, Cemetery. Relatives and friends are asked to join the procession to the Mt. Olive Cemetery in honor of Jonah at approximately 10:30 a.m. at the Becker & Son Funeral Home. If joining the procession please remain in your vehicles at all times. A Public Celebration of Life will take place at a later date on the Niehaus Farm.
