Juanita Irene (Eiskant) Rutledge, passed away on March 16, 2017 at 3:12 am in Litchfield, IL. She was born on January 15, 1927 in East St. Louis, IL to Walter Earl Eiskant and Lorena Isabella (Menifee). She married Charles A. Soehnlin on March 30, 1946 in East St Louis, IL. He preceded her in death on January 13, 1968. Juanita then married Clarence J. Rutledge on February 21, 1976 in Belleville, IL. He preceded her in death on June 19, 1996. Juanita cleaned at Mt Olive Post Office and Mt Olive Bank. She also was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in East St Louis, IL as well as a homemaker. Juanita was a member of the Amvets Ladies Auxiliary 55 of Mt Olive, IL and the Pinochle Club at the VFW in Mt Olive. She enjoyed being with her family and playing cards. She is survived by her daughters, Sharon C. Dobrinic (Anthony J.) of Mt Olive, IL, Linda S. Fabik (Ray) of Mt Olive, IL, Mary F. Moran of Madison, IL, grandchildren, Allen L. Brannam Jr (Heather) of Mt Olive, IL, Scott W. Brannam (Companion, Jeni) of Belleville, IL, Tammy Fabik-Fletcher (Frank) of Caseyville, IL, Chuck Fabik of Mt Olive, IL, Chrissy Bartholomy (Mike) of Collinsville, IL, Valerie Bringer (Steve) of Granite City, IL, Angie Brock (Stephen) of Belleville, IL, Kim (Jon) Williams of O'Fallon, IL, Phillip Mersinger of O'Fallon, IL, many great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, two spouses, brothers, Kenneth Eiskant, Arthur Eiskant, Harry Eiskant, Charles Edward Eiskant, sisters, Alma Memanus, Veleta Gunter (Juanita's twin) and Charlotte Eiskant. Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2017 at Becker and Son Funeral Home, Mt Olive, IL from 11am until the time of service. The funeral service will be at 2pm on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Becker and Son Funeral Home, Mt Olive, IL. Rev. Ed Fogle will officiate. Burial will be at Mt Olive Cemetery. Memorial may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Lunch for family and friends was served at the Mt. Olive VFW Hall. Condolences can be given at www.beckerandson.com
