Kenneth Scott Snyder, (Kenny, Kennyballs) 53 years old of Springfield, IL passed away peacefully Wednesday, June 7, 2023 surrounded by his family.
Kenny was born September 29, 1969 in Springfield, IL at St. John's Hospital to Marlin Maurice Snyder Sr and Darlene A Snyder (nee. Kunze). Kenny went to Springfield Schools: Hay Edwards and Graduated from Lee Developmental Center in 1991, where Kenny met his favorite teacher; Janet Stratton.
Kenny's passion was his family & family friends - he knew no stranger and all that met him became his instant friend for life. He loved playing video games, watching WWF/WWE wrestling and movies, plus goofing around with all his siblings, nieces and nephew's. If Kenny met you - he remembered you, no matter the amount of time that passed between meetings.
Kenny is survived by his Mom: Darlene Snyder; his sisters; Tammy Ann (Ray) Panting; Suzanne (Suzie) Biddle; Brothers: Maurice M. Snyder Jr (Cindy); Mark Allen Sr (Rhonda) Snyder; Donald F. Snyder & Joey W. Snyder, all of Springfield; Nieces/Nephews: Sara A. Panting; Rebecca - Becky (Josh) Epperson of Buffalo; Michael M. Snyder of St. Louis, MO; Ronald M. Snisky; Mark A. Snyder Jr., Bethany E Snisky-Metlis (Brian); Timothy S. Snyder and Rachel M. Lang all of Springfield. Great Nephew's: Ethan S. Epperson, Jameson Tapscott-Snyder & Ryan Biddle; Aunts: Bette Jones of Mt. Olive; Doris Westbrook of Staunton and Bessie Kaylor of California; & Bunches of cousins.
Kenny was preceded in death by his Dad Marlin M. Snyder Sr., Grandparents Fred & Daisy Snyder and William & Bernice Kunze.
If Kenny could've left us a message - it would be: Never measure your life by possessions. Measure it by the hearts you've touched, the smiles you created, and the love you shared.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Becker and Son Funeral Home in Mt. Olive, IL. Funeral to follow visitation at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Chapman Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL.
