Lawrence Edward Giffin
Lawrence Edward Giffin passed away at his residence on Monday, October 17, 2022 at 2:23 p.m. He was 90 years old.
Lawrence was born on March 14, 1932 in Shipman, IL to Cecil Lockwood Giffin and Dorothy Leona (Boatright) Giffin. He served from April 1949 - January 1955 as a corporal in the United State Army. He was a paratrooper in the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the service, he was a self-employed heavy equipment operator. Lawrence enjoyed spending time with his friends.
Lawrence is survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Jack Giffin, and sisters: Evelyn Newberry, Dolores Niehaus, Shirley Bollman and Jenny Hill.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
