Military: Joined the United States Army in 1949 , and served as Private 1st Class and a clerk typist. She received eight weeks of college training at Fort Lee, Virginia and a Honorable Discharge in 1951.
Interests: were Arts, Crafts, Sewing and she loved her dogs.

A Graveside Service and Burial Saturday, May 14, 2016 10 A.M. with Military Rites by the Mt. Olive Area Veterans will be held at Sunnyside Cemetery, Sorento, Illinois.

Music: Soloist, Ernie Thomack will sing "Amazing Gace" & "God Bless America" and play "Taps".
