Mary Jane Zubal
Mary Jane Zubal passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. She was 86 years old.
Mary Jane was born on September 15, 1939 to John R. Miller and Lula Mae (Moore) Miller in Ashmore, IL. She attended Ashmore Grade School, Charleston High School and Eastern Illinois University. Mary Jane was the owner of Chalice Antiques for many years. Mary Jane married Timothy S. Zubal on May 6, 2020 at the Macoupin County Courthouse in Carlinville, IL.
Mary Jane enjoyed flower gardening, home decorating with the changing of the seasons, and the fireplace in the winter months. Our two dogs, Chase and Blanket, would follow her from room to room in the house, and by her side when out doors.
Mary Jane is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Zubal, two sons: Jeffrey Brent Hastings and Shawn (Meg) Hastings, three grandchildren, and a sister, Beverly K. Hill.
