Patricia Ann Svetlik

Patricia Ann Svetlik passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022 at 6:02 a.m. at her residence in Walshville IL. She was 78 years old.

Mrs. Svetlik was born on August 2, 1944, the daughter of Walter Fritzsche and Margaret Rose (Costello) Fritzsche. She attended Mount Olive Grade School and High School and graduated in the class of 1962. Patricia married Edward Thomas Svetlik on April 20, 1963 at the Ascension Church in Mt. Olive with Father Sanders officiating. Mrs. Svetlik worked at Echlin Brake Parts in Litchfield as a supervisor. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Mt. Olive now St. John Paul II. Mrs. Svetlik loved to work outside in her yard tending to her flowers.

Mrs. Svetlik is survived by her husband, her daughter, Theresa, three grandchildren: Sara, Stacy and Scott, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Paul Fritzsche, and a sister, Lucille Adden. 

Visitation will be held at St. John Paul II Catholic Church in Mt. Olive on Friday, November 4, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Funeral mass officiated by Father Thomas Hagstrom will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Holy Trinity Cemetery in Mt Olive. Lunch will be provided by the St. John Paul II Altar and Rosary society immediately following services.

Memorials are suggested to the Holy Trinity Cemetery or Masses at St. John Paul II.

Honorary pallbearers are: Jim Adden, Lisa Adden, Brian Kosowski, Trent Cameron, Tom Bodner and C. J. Swanson.
