Raymond Michael Boston of Mt Olive, IL passed away on March 17, 2017 at 2:20 am at St Francis Hospital, Litchfield, IL. He was born January 26, 1924 to Michael Boston and Amelia (Korunka) Boston in Mt. Olive, IL. Raymond married Marie Ann Delich on September 15, 1950 in Edwardsville, IL. He worked for Illinois Power. Raymond was a veteran of WWII serving in the Army. He was a graduate of Mt Olive High School. Raymond was the last charter member of the VFW of Mt Olive. He enjoyed making wine. He is survived by his wife, Marie Boston of Mt Olive, IL, son and daughter in law, Ed and Vicki (Schwab) Boston of Collinsville, IL, grandchild, Jennifer Boston of Chicago, great grandchildren, Maya Ladwig and Zoe Ladwig. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bob Boston. No public services will be held. Memorials may be made to the VFW Post 5790. Becker and Son Funeral Home is in charge.
