Robert Dale Bartok

 

Robert Dale Bartok passed away on May 16, 2024 at 5:15 p.m. at Carlinville Rehab Center and Health Care Center in Carlinville, IL. He was 67 years old.

 

Robert was born on August 18, 1956 in Litchfield, IL to Hazel (Coatney) Bartok and Daniel Louis Bartok. He was baptized and confirmed in the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Olive. Robert attended Mt. Olive Public School and graduated with the Class of 1974. He went to work for Hano Business Forms on the Monday after graduation and worked there until Hano went out of business. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying camping, hunting and fishing. Bob married Jackie Parker in Carlinville on April 9, 2018. She preceded him in death.

 

Robert is survived by his brother, Mark, and two sisters: Diana Lesko and Karen Weidler and a sister-in-law, Esther Kierbach.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a stepson, Neal Parker, and two brothers: Daniel Bartok and Ernie Kierbach.

 

Robert was cremated according to his wishes and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
