Military: A Private First Class, served 2 years in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict .
Occupation: Retired Superintendent of Mt. Olive School District #5 // Mt.Olive Elementary School Principal & Jr. High Basketball Coach & began his career teaching in Wyoming, IL
Interests: AVID CUB FAN // having a cold Miller Lite while grilling, B-S-ing and joking with family and friends // Supported the Chicago Bears depending on the week or the season // loved his cat Ernie and all his former dogs // Telling funny stories, some of which are true.

Burial: Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Mt. Olive, IL
Clergy: Reverend James Ritter Eulogy: will be given by his Daughters, LuAnn and Diane
Military Honors: Ron Hubert & Lavern Rosenthal will fold the flag & Ron Hubert will present it to his Wife, Shirley, Richard Willows & Raymond Slapak will serve as Honor Guard and Abby LaBonte will play Taps.
Music: Harpist, Jennifer Monke will play the Processional & Recessional and accompany soloist, Dale Boudreau on "Wonderful World", A Recording of "Old Friends" by Willie Nelson, Roger Miller, & Ray Price will be played when the honorary pallbearers are seated. A recording "My Way" by Frank Sinatra will be played at the family service & at the conclusion at the cemetery a recording of Go ! Cubs Go ! by Steve Goodman will send Bob off to those Ivey Covered Walls in the sky.
