Ronald Lee Green passed away at his home in Litchfield, IL at 8:11 a.m. on September 19, 2025. He was 72 years old.

Ronald Lee Green was born on January 22, 1953 in Springfield, IL to Charles Green and Geneva (Osborn) Green. He attended high school and then he joined the United States Army. He received an honorable discharge. Following his service in the Army, he joined the Carpenter’s Union Local 211. He spent years working as a self-employed carpenter. Ronald married Diane (Cooper) Green on June 1, 1990 in Litchfield, IL, and she survives. Ronald was a talented artist, outdoor enthusiast, and a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Ronald is survived by two sons: Aaron Green and Andrew (Breanna Phillips) Green, three grandchildren: Hazley Green, Rynlee Green, and Emberlyn Green, three brothers: Phillip (Shirley) Green, Dave (Bobbi) Green and Dewey Green.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Green and Geneva Osborn.

A private family graveside service will take place at Chapman Cemetery in Mt. Olive, IL.
