During his time in the corrugated box business he was a very determined worker and worked his way from the production floor to general managers of various corrugated box companies. His work ethic and drive was something that has always been instilled in him and in his own family from day one.

Walt valued and cherished the time he spent playing sports from a young age with his Granite City friends, coaching his own children in their sports endeavors, now watching his granddaughters in their activities, and watching sports. He was a St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Blues fan, where a lot of memories were made as the family would often attend games together.

He valued his time with his family and the time spent on family vacations. He loved being with his kids and grandkids. He enjoyed taking fishing trips with his son Mike. Walt enjoyed his daily walks with his beloved dog, Lizzy.

Walt is survived by his wife, Rolene, a daughter, Jennifer (Justin) Bissell of Corning, Iowa, a son, Michael (Kelcie) Reinhardt of Benld, IL, two granddaughters: Delanie and Sophia Reinhardt, a sister, Carol (Donald) Wallace of Pontoon Beach, IL, a sister-in-law, Brenda Mansholt of Mt.
